2023 ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE MENDON FIRE DISTRICT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Mendon Fire District will take place on December 12, 2023 between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Mendon Fire House located at 101 Mendon-Ionia Road, Mendon, New York 14506, for the purpose of electing one (1) Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2028.
SE DA AVISO FORMAL que la elección anual del Distrito de bomberos de Mendon se llevará a cabo el 12 de Diciembre, 2023 entre las 3:00 pm y las 9:00 pm en el edificio de bomberos de Mendon ubicado en 101 Mendon Ionia Road, Mendon, NY 14506. El propósito es elegir un (1) Comisionado de bomberos por un periodo de cinco (5) años, comenzando el 1 de Enero de 2024 y terminará el 31 de Diciembre del 2028.
Only voters living in the Mendon Fire District (on or before November 12, 2023) and registered with the Monroe County Board of Elections on or before November 20, 2023 shall be eligible to vote.
Solo los votantes que viven en el Distrito de Bomberos de Mendon (en el 12 de Noviembre 2023 o antes) y estén registrados en la Junta electoral del condado de Monroe el 20 de Noviembre 2023 o antes, serán elegibles para votar.
Qualified Candidates for the Fire District Office shall have their name’s filed in petition form, signed by twenty five qualified voters of the district, with the Secretary of the Mendon Fire District, R. Thomas Sellman at the Mendon Fire House located at 101 Mendon-Ionia Road, Mendon, New York 14506 no later than 5 p.m. on November 22, 2023.
Los candidatos calificados para la oficina del Distrito de bomberos deberán presentar su nombre por medio de un formulario de petición, firmado por veinticinco (25) votantes calificados del distrito, antes de el secretario del distrito de bomberos de Mendon, R. Thomas Sellman en el edificio de los bomberos de Mendon ubicado en 101 Mendon Ionia Road, Mendon NY 14506, a mas tardar de las 5 pm el 22 de Noviembre de 2023.
