MENDON FIRE DISTRICT MINUTES Special Meeting; 12/30/2020
Chairman R. Wilsey called the meeting to order at 18:58 Hrs.
Attending: Dan Considine, Art Morrell, J.Shipe, S.Shuler, Ryan Wilsey, Secretary John McGinnis, Treasurer Heidi Baumer, Counsel William Fletcher, Peter Kester, Dave Ackerman, David Friedlander
Purpose: The purpose of this special meeting was to decide on the year-end transfer of funds from the District Checking account to the Capital Reserve Account.
The checking account currently has a balance of $199K. Bills probably due in January 2021 are: building painting approximately $15K, Building Key Project $24K and $276.00 per month, and $40K for Treasurer’s operating funds.
Considering potential January expenses, S.Shuler made a motion to move $110K from the Checking Account to the Capital Reserve Fund, 2nd by D.Considine. Motion approved unanimously 5-0.
Motion to adjourn by R.Wilsey, 2nd by S.Shuler. Motion unanimously approved 5-0, Meeting adjourned at 19:36 Hrs.
