CANCELLATION
Given the lack of a quorum, the official meeting for purpose of issues requiring a vote by the Board of Commissioner’s was cancelled.

MISC. DISCUSSION
President Arman introduced two new Mendon Fire Department RAM members: Sam Burdett and Keaton Yates.
There was discussion regarding the upcoming (Feb 10th , 2024) Celebration of Life Event for past member John McGinnis (to be held at the station).
There was discussion regarding an inquiry by the RARA Hamfest Committee to use the carnival grounds and various parts of the facility to support a large ( 500+ people ) multi-day festival in the June timeframe. A core issue is lack of sponsorship by any department member. Other concerns were no use of the fire station (security, etc.) and no interference with traffic flow for department vehicles responding to calls. President Arman to respond back to the requestor.
Discussion transpired regarding bill payments. It was noted that based on January 1st , 2024 organizational meeting resolution, the Treasurer has prior authorization to pay any various utility charges, health insurance, credit card charges, fuel bills. Additionally, the Treasurer would be able to pay invoices for previously approved (by affirmative Commission vote) purchase orders. February Vouchers shown in Appendix A.
NEXT MEETING
Per discussion, the next meeting will be the normal, previously announced/scheduled meeting on March 14th at 7 PM.
